Ta-Da Half Square Triangle Step by Step Instructions

Step #1

Trim the border off the panel where indicated and discard. Begin by laying the Ta-Da Triangle interfacing fusible (bumpy) side down on the wrong side of the lightest colored fabric.

Step #2

Set your iron to the polyester setting. Press the interfacing using an up and down motion. Start in the middle of the panel, working toward the edges. Hold the iron on interfacing for 8 - 12 seconds to fuse.

Step #3

Once the interfacing is fused to the lightest colored fabric, place the two fabrics right sides together. Place a few pins in the solid lines to hold the two fabrics in place. Now you are ready to sew on the dotted lines.

Step #4

After sewing your fabrics together you are ready to cut your half square triangles on the solid lines. A ruler and rotary cutter make this an easy process.

Step #5

Gently press the individual triangles open with the seam allowance toward the darker fabric and Ta-Da! You now have purr-fect half square triangles.
